Our Third Charity Movement
On 29th June 2024, Reouttage Charity Organization had house-to-house visits in Fiditi, Oyo State, intentionally seeking out the most vulnerable elders who are often overlooked. This time, we identified and served 9 aged individuals with special needs – precious people facing serious health and financial challenges. This movement was sponsored by a man who chose to celebrate God’s faithfulness on his birthday by extending love to the aged.
Among them were people living with:
• Stroke
• A persistent leg injury that had been under treatment for a long time
• Arthritis
One woman in particular had been struggling with both the leg injury and arthritis. Her prescribed medications had run out, and she had no money to buy more. Reouttage Charity Organization stepped in immediately to purchase and deliver the much-needed drugs, bringing her immediate relief and renewed hope. On that day, we moved from home to home, meeting each elder where they were. At every stop, our preacher Prophet Moses Ajao, who happens to be an invited minister: Shared the Word of God – speaking encouragement and reminders of God’s love and faithfulness.Prayed with them. Declared healing and restoration of perfect health over their lives, standing on our firm belief in the miracles God has prepared for His people.
In addition to spiritual and medical support, we distributed raw food items to every beneficiary:
Rice
Beans
Salt
These essential staples were given with love and prayers, helping to ease daily nutritional needs for households that often struggle.
Impact and Reflections
This house-to-house outreach marked a deeper level of care for Reouttage Charity Organization. While our first two outreaches reached larger groups in a communal setting, this third outreach allowed us to enter personal spaces, listen to individual stories, and respond directly to urgent, specific needs. The 9 elders we visited had more than food and medicine – they received dignity, attention, and the assurance that they have not been forgotten. For the woman whose medications had finished, the timely intervention was life-changing. For all nine, the prayers, declarations of healing, and shared Word of God brought comfort and renewed strength.Under the leadership of our Visioner, this outreach reaffirmed our core mandate: to reach the unreached, care for the aged with special needs, and demonstrate the love of Christ in the most practical and personal ways possible. What started as a launch in December 2022 continues to grow in depth, showing that no elder is too far, too hidden, or too challenged for God’s love to reach.
