On a beautiful day that will forever be remembered, 25th December 2022,  was the official launch of our organization, we stepped out in faith to serve the elderly in Fiditi, Oyo State. What began as a simple gathering quickly turned into a powerful testimony of God’s love in action. Present at this maiden outreach were the Visioner and three dedicated team members who came to support the mission, alongside two respected community leaders, the Senior Pastor of the host church, her family, and several friends who joined hands to make the day a success.

A total of 30 aged beneficiaries from various communities across Fiditi graced the occasion. These precious elders, many of whom rarely receive such focused attention, were the heart of the program.

How the Day Unfolded

The program opened with a heartfelt opening prayer, setting a spiritual atmosphere that carried through every activity. We lifted our voices in praises to God, filling the venue with songs of thanksgiving and worship that reminded everyone of the One who truly sustains us.

Next came the Health Talk, where we shared practical lessons on personal basic healthcare – simple but life-changing tips on hygiene, nutrition, medication management, and daily wellness practices tailored for the aged. The session was interactive, with many elders nodding in agreement and asking thoughtful questions.

After the teaching, we moved into the distribution of gifts. Each beneficiary received a package containing:

• Rice
• Salt
• Seasoning Cubes
• Matches

These essential items were given with love and prayers, symbolizing our commitment to meet both physical and spiritual needs.

One of the most powerful moments of the day was the Prophetic Declaration Session. Believing firmly in the miracles God has prepared for His people, we spoke life, healing, and divine provision over everyone present. The atmosphere was charged as declarations of God’s goodness rang out, and many hearts were visibly touched.

The program closed with a closing prayer, sealing the day in gratitude and expectation for greater things ahead.

Impact and Reflections
This first outreach was more than an event – it was the official birth of our organization’s mandate to reach the unreached, care for the aged, and demonstrate the love of Christ in practical ways. Seeing 30 elders leave with smiles, full hands, and encouraged hearts confirmed that we are on the right path.

The presence of community leaders and the church family also strengthened our resolve that this mission is not ours alone but a community effort backed by God.
